Returns & Exchanges – The Made In Hemp Way

Checking sizing before you buy

We know shopping online can feel like a bit of a gamble, so we’re here to make it easy. If you’re unsure about sizing, reach out before you place your order – our team is always happy to help. We can double-check measurements, compare them to garments you already own, or give you honest fit advice (we know which pieces run a little smaller or more generous). Change of mind, size or colour

We get it – sometimes a size isn’t quite right, or the colour doesn’t feel like “you.” While we don’t offer refunds for change of mind, wrong size or colour, we’re happy to help with an exchange or a store credit if you let us know within 14 days of receiving your order.

  • Items need to be unused, in their original condition and packaging, with proof of purchase.
  • Return shipping and the cost to send out your new item will be covered by you.
  • Store credit never expires and can be used both in-store and online – take your time finding something that’s just right.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

If your item isn’t up to scratch or we’ve made a mistake, email info@madeinhemp.com.au within 14 days of delivery. Please include your order number and a couple of photos so we can see what’s gone wrong.

Once the product is returned to us for a quick inspection, we’ll:

  • Reimburse your return postage
  • Refund the cost of goods to your original payment method – or offer an exchange or store credit if that’s what you’d prefer.

This is all in line with your rights under the Australian Consumer Law – if there’s a major fault, you’re entitled to a refund or replacement, and we’ll make it right.


How to return

  1. Email info@madeinhemp.com.au with your order number, reason for return, and photos if it’s faulty.
  2. Send your item back via a trackable method to:

  1. Hold onto the tracking receipt. We’ll process your exchange, store credit, or (for confirmed faults) refund within 5 business days of receiving your parcel.
